- EXEMPTION:This requirement does not apply to continuous-feed trimmers.You must provide power-driven guillotine cutters with both:(1) Brakes or other stopping mechanism; and(2) An emergency device that will prevent the machine from operating if the brake fails when the starting mechanism is in the nonstarting position.
