Section 296-803-70005. Perform and document periodic reviews to verify employees know and follow the energy control procedures.

  • You must:
    • Do a periodic review at least annually to:
    – Make sure employees know and can apply the energy control procedures.
    – Correct any deviations or inadequacies identified.
    Exemption:
    Energy control procedures used less frequently than once a year only need to be reviewed before being used.
    You must:
    • Have the periodic review done by an authorized employee other than the ones using the energy control procedure being reviewed.
    • Document that periodic reviews have been done.
    – Include all of the following:
    ■ Machine or equipment the energy control procedure was used for.
    ■ Date of the review.
    ■ Employees included in the review.
    ■ Person doing the review.
