- Whenever blasting is being conducted in the vicinity of gas, electric, water, fire alarm, telephone, telegraph, and steam utilities, the blaster in charge must notify appropriate utility representatives:(1) At least twenty-four hours in advance of blasting.(2) Of the specific location and intended time of blasting.(3) To confirm the verbal notice with a written notice.[Statutory Authority: RCW 49.17.010, [49.17].040, and [49.17].050.
