- RCW 19.30.170 contains two different provisions for priority in paying judgments from the contractor's bond or security.(1) If a contractor is secured, the department shall satisfy final judgments against the contractor in the order the department receives the judgments.(2) If a contractor is bonded, claims for unpaid wages and benefits are satisfied first, claims for damages are satisfied second, and claims for costs and attorney's fees are satisfied last.
