Section 296-31-010. What mental health treatment and services are available?

- (1) The crime victims compensation program provides payment for mental health treatment and services to victims of crime who are eligible for compensation under chapter 7.68 RCW, the Crime Victims' Act.EXCEPTION:Benefits under the crime victims compensation program are secondary to services available from any other public or private insurance.(2) Services and treatment are limited to procedures that are:(a) Proper and necessary for the diagnoses of an accepted condition;(b) Available at the least cost;(c) Consistent with accepted standards of mental health care; and(d) Will enable the client to reach maximum recovery.[Statutory Authority: 7.68.030, 7.68.130, 51.04.030 and 51.36.010.
