  • "Powered industrial truck" (or "truck") means a fork truck, industrial tractor, platform lift truck, motorized hand truck, or other specialized industrial trucks, powered by electric motors or internal combustion engines. The definition does not include compressed gas-operated industrial trucks, tractor-mounted forklifts, or vehicles intended primarily for earth moving or over-the-road hauling.
