Section 296-307-48015. How must cylinders be transported?

- (1) When transporting cylinders by a crane or derrick, a cradle, boat, or suitable platform must be used. Slings or electric magnets are prohibited for this purpose. Valve-protection caps, where cylinder is designed to accept a cap, must always be in place.(2) Unless cylinders are secured on a special truck, regulators must be removed and valve-protection caps, when provided for, must be put in place before cylinders are moved.(3) When cylinders are transported by powered vehicle they must be secured in a vertical position.[WSR 97-09-013, recodified as § 296-307-48015, filed 4/7/97, effective 4/7/97.
