Section 284-24-049. Rules that apply to advisory organizations.

- (1) Advisory organizations may file rates with the commissioner. The commissioner will review the advisory rates using the same standards that apply to insurers and rating organizations. If the rates comply with chapter 48.19 RCW, the commissioner will approve the rates on an advisory basis.(2) If an insurer wants to use approved advisory rates, the insurer must make a rate filing that includes:(a) A statement by the insurer of its intent to use the advisory rates;(b) The filing number used by the advisory organization when it submitted the filing; and(c) Statistical and actuarial support for each component of the rate filing that is not part of the advisory filing.[Statutory Authority: RCW 48.02.060, 48.110.150.
