Section 284-23-670. Waiver of premiums.

The insurer may offer a waiver of premium for the accelerated benefit provision, even in the absence of a policy waiver of premium provision being in effect. At the time payment of the accelerated benefit is requested, the insurer shall explain to the owner of an individual policy, or the certificate holder of a group policy, any continuing premium requirement necessary to keep the policy in force.
