Section 246-922-190. Malpractice suit reporting.

- Every licensed podiatric physician and surgeon shall, within sixty days after settlement or judgment, notify the board of any and all malpractice settlements or judgments in excess of twenty thousand dollars as a result of a claim or action for damages alleged to have been caused by a podiatric physician and surgeon's incompetency or negligence in the practice of podiatric medicine and surgery. Every podiatric physician and surgeon shall also report the settlement or judgment of three or more claims or actions for damages during a one-year period as the result of the alleged podiatric physician and surgeon's incompetence or negligence in the practice of podiatric medicine and surgery regardless of the dollar amount of the settlement or judgment.[Statutory Authority: RCW 18.22.015.
