- Pharmacy assistants may perform, under the general supervision of a licensed pharmacist, all duties except those reserved to the pharmacist and the pharmacy technician.Pharmacy assistants may:(1) Prepackage and label drugs for subsequent use in prescription dispensing operations.(2) Count, pour, and label for individual prescriptions.[Statutory Authority: RCW 18.64.005, chapter 18.64A RCW.
