Section 246-861-060. Instructors' credit toward continuing education unit.

- Any pharmacist whose primary responsibility is not the education of health professionals, who leads, instructs or lectures to groups of nurses, physicians, pharmacists or others on pharmacy-related topics in organized continuing education shall be granted one hour of continuing education credit for each hour spent in actually presenting the initial course or program which has been approved for continuing education credit.Any pharmacist whose primary responsibility is the education of health professionals shall be granted continuing education credit only for time expended in leading, instruction or lecturing to groups of physicians, pharmacists, nurses or others on pharmacy related topics outside his/her formal course responsibilities in a learning institution.A presenter shall not be granted multiple credit for multiple presentations of the same program of continuing education.[Statutory Authority: RCW 18.64.005.
