Section 246-842-130. Denial of approval or withdrawal of approval for programs for which the board is the approving authority.

  • (1) The board may deny approval to new programs when it determines that a nursing assistant training program fails substantially to meet the standards for training as contained in WAC 246-842-170 through 246-842-210. All such board actions shall be in accordance with the Washington Administrative Procedure Act and/or the administrative rules and regulations of the board.
    (2) The board may withdraw approval from existing programs when it determines that a nursing education program fails substantially to meet the standards for nursing assistant training as contained in WAC 246-842-170 through 246-842-210. All such actions shall be effected in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act and/or the administrative rules and regulations of the board.
