Section 246-830-401. Scope and purpose.

- (1) The minimum educational requirements for licensure to practice massage therapy in Washington is successful completion of a course of study from a massage school, program, or apprenticeship program approved by the board.(2) The purpose of this chapter is to provide a set of standards and procedures by which massage schools, programs, or apprenticeship programs may obtain approval by the board in order that graduates of those schools, programs, or apprenticeship programs may be permitted to take examinations for licensure.[Statutory Authority: RCW 18.108.025(1).
