Section 246-366A-155. Playgrounds—Operation and maintenance requirements.

- School officials shall:(1) Monitor and operate playgrounds so that protective surfacing and use zones are maintained, and equipment is properly anchored and free of puncture, pinching, crushing, shearing, entanglement, and entrapment hazards.(2) Prohibit the use of chromated copper arsenate or creosote treated wood to repair or maintain playground equipment, landscape structures, or other structures on which students may play.[Statutory Authority: RCW 43.20.050.
