- (1) The department, in cooperation with the office of superintendent of public instruction, shall:(a) Update the Health and Safety Guide for K-12 Schools in Washington (the guide) at least every four years; and(b) Make the guide available on the department's web site.(2) The guide is the primary source of guidance for local health officers and school officials implementing these rules.[Statutory Authority: RCW 43.20.050.
