Section 246-322-150. Clinical facilities.

- The licensee shall provide:(1) An adequate number of counseling or treatment rooms for group or individual therapy programs with reasonable soundproofing to maintain confidentiality;(2) One or more seclusion rooms, with or without an exterior window, intended for short-term occupancy, with:(a) Staff-controlled locks and relites in the door, or equivalent;(b) Provisions for authorized staff to observe the occupant at all times;(c) A minimum of eighty square feet of floor space, exclusive of fixed equipment, with a minimum room dimension of eight feet; and(d) Shielded, tamper-proof lighting fixtures;(3) One or more physical examination rooms, with or without an exterior window, equipped with:(a) An examination table;(b) Examination light;(c) Storage for medical supplies and equipment; and(d) A readily accessible handwashing sink, soap dispenser, and acceptable single-use hand-drying device; and(4) Secure areas to properly store and handle medical supplies and medications.
