Section 246-274-430. Installers—Tier 2 and Tier 3 greywater irrigation systems.

- (1) Only a person approved by the local health officer to install greywater irrigation systems may construct and install a Tier 2 or Tier 3 system.(2) The local health officer may allow the resident owner of a single-family residence, not adjacent to a marine shoreline, to install the Tier 2 or Tier 3 system for his or her residence when the system reuses no more than three hundred gallons per day of greywater.(3) The installer shall:(a) Follow the approved design;(b) Have the approved design in possession during installation;(c) Make no changes to the approved design without the prior authorization of the person who designed the system and, if a permit is required, the local health officer; and(d) Be on the site at all times during the excavation and construction of the system.[Statutory Authority: RCW 90.46.015.
