Section 230-15-555. Cashier's cage design and structure.

- (1) House-banked card game licensees must:(a) Locate on, or immediately adjacent to, the gambling floor a physical structure to house the cashier and act as a cashier's cage; and(b) Design, construct, and operate the cashier's cage to provide maximum security and accountability for funds.(2) The cage must include, at a minimum:(a) An enclosed structure with openings through which gambling chips, checks, cash, records, documents, and other such items can be passed;(b) Manually triggered silent alarm systems connected directly to the surveillance room(s) of the closed circuit television system or an alarm monitoring agency; and(c) A locked door, which the surveillance department monitors access to with closed circuit television.[Statutory Authority: RCW 9.46.070.
