The department, created in chapter 43, Laws of 2011, provides centralized leadership in efficiently and cost-effectively managing resources necessary to support the delivery of state government services. The department is an administrative, service and regulatory state agency. The administrative office of the department and its staff are located at 1500 Jefferson Ave., Olympia, Washington 98504.
