Section 181-79A-260. Establishing equivalency for course work, degrees and programs completed in countries outside the United States.

- Certification candidates who have completed degree and/or approved professional preparation programs in a country other than the United States may be required to provide one or more of the following:(1) A transcript from a regionally accredited United States college or university indicating that the college/university has accepted the degree as equivalent to its degree.(2) A statement of degree equivalency for the appropriate degree from a foreign credentials' evaluation agency approved by the office of the superintendent of public instruction.(3) A statement from an official of the college or university where the certification program was completed, indicating completion of the program and approval of the program by the agency governing certification in that country.[WSR 06-02-051, recodified as § 181-79A-260, filed 12/29/05, effective 1/1/06.
