Section 181-78A-136. Responsibilities of deans, directors, or other designated administrators.

- Each institution or organization operating an approved preparation program shall require the dean, director, or other designee of the administrative unit required by WAC 181-78A-261(2) to coordinate the following responsibilities:(1) Formation of professional education advisory boards.(2) Management of operations and resources for each preparation program.(3) Filing of affidavits and reports required by this chapter and chapter 181-79A WAC.(4) Dissemination of information relative to initial and continuing certification procedures and requirements.(5) The application process for certification.(6) Establishing and administering a process to counsel and assist applicants in the processing of applications for certificates and endorsements thereon: Provided, That colleges and universities need not provide such assistance to applicants who have completed less than 15 quarter (10 semester) hours of coursework at the respective college or university.[Statutory Authority: RCW 28A.410.210.
