 Title 181. Professional Educator Standards Board
 Chapter 181-78A. Approval standards for performance-based preparation programs for teachers, administrators, and educational staff associates.

  Section 181-78A-255. Approval standard—Accountability.

  • Building on the mission to prepare educators who demonstrate a positive impact on student learning, the following evidence shall be evaluated to determine whether each preparation program is in compliance with the program approval standards of WAC 181-78A-220(2).
    (1) Each approved program shall maintain a data system that exhibits:
    (a) Data structure;
    (b) Standards for security and access; and
    (c) Guidelines for data governance.
    (2) Each approved education preparation program shall collect and report data in accordance with the data manuals adopted by the professional educator standards board.
