- (1) It is the policy of the department of ecology (ecology) under the authority vested in it by chapters 43.21A and 70.94 RCW to provide for the systematic control of air pollution from air contaminant sources and for the proper development of the state's natural resources.(2) It is the purpose of this chapter to establish standards for the control of air contaminants emitted from gasoline marketing sources.[Statutory Authority: RCW 70.94.331.
