Chapter 173-450. Establishing requirements for the receipt of financial aid. |
Section 173-450-020. Definitions.

- Unless a different meaning is clearly required by context, words and phrases used in this chapter shall have the following meanings; general terms common with other chapters of Title 173 WAC as defined in chapter 173-403 WAC, and terms specific to requirements for financial aid as follows:(1) "Applicant" means an air authority applying for state financial aid under the provisions of chapter 70.94 RCW.(2) "Grantee" means an applicant for whom state financial aid has been approved by the department.(3) "Locally funded portion" or "local funds" means the funds provided to the applicant air authority from sources available to it under chapter 70.94 RCW exclusive of state financial aid or federal funds designated specifically for air pollution.(4) "Payment period" means the period of time for which money for state and federal financial aid is paid to the grantee upon receipt and approval by the department of a properly executed voucher.(5) "Workable program" means a comprehensive statement of objectives for the prevention and control of air pollution and the existing and proposed measures to achieve these objectives as described in WAC 173-450-050.[Statutory Authority: Chapter 70.94 RCW.
