Section 173-175-530. Reporting of incidents.

- Owners are required to notify the department when incidents occur or when problems or conditions arise which may pose a threat to life or property or a threat to the integrity of the dam.(1) The owner shall report by telephone to the department on any condition affecting the safety of the project or when an incident has occurred. The initial oral report must be made as soon as practicable after the condition is discovered or following any incident.(2) A written report may be required by the department within thirty days following the discovery of the condition or after the incident. The report shall describe the condition affecting the safety of the project or the incident which has occurred and shall describe the preliminary plans for correcting the condition and for preventing the recurrence of a similar incident.[Statutory Authority: RCW 43.21A.064, [43.21A.]080 and 86.16.061.
