Section 170-297-4375. Lighting safety.

Latest version.

(1) Ceiling-mounted light fixtures in licensed space accessible to children must have one of the following:

(a) Shatter-resistant covers; or

(b) Shatter-resistant light bulbs.

(2) The licensee must not:

(a) Allow bare light bulbs in any play space;

(b) Use lights or light fixtures indoors that are intended or recommended for outdoor use; or

(c) Use halogen lamps in any area accessible to children during operating hours.
