Section 170-296A-2600. Furnaces and other heating devices.

- (1) The licensee must keep paper, rubbish, or combustible materials at least three feet away from any furnace, fireplace, or other heating device.(2) A furnace must be inaccessible to the children, isolated, enclosed or protected.(3) Any appliance or heating device that has a hot surface capable of burning a child must be made inaccessible to the children in care during operating hours when the appliance or device is in use or is still hot after use.[Statutory Authority: RCW 43.215.060, 43.215.070, and chapter 43.215 RCW.
