Section 170-296A-5150. Water activity—Supervision.

- When children in care are attending a swimming or water play activity outside the licensed premises:(1) The licensee must have written permission from each child's parent or guardian;(2) There must be a certified lifeguard on duty; and(3) When infants or toddlers are in water depth that is:(a) Twenty-four inches or less, the licensee or staff must stay within reach of infants or toddlers; or(b) Greater than twenty-four inches, the licensee must provide one-to-one staff-to-child ratio for each infant or toddler.
