Section 170-296A-3650. Hand sanitizers.

- (1) If the licensee has a written and signed parent or guardian permission as described in WAC 170-296A-3375(2), the licensee may use hand sanitizer products only with children over twenty-four months old. Hand sanitizer products may be used:(a) When handwashing facilities are not available, such as an outing, emergency, or disaster; or(b) After proper handwashing.(2) Hand sanitizer gels must not be used in place of proper handwashing if handwashing facilities are available.[Statutory Authority: RCW 43.215.060, 43.215.070, and chapter 43.215 RCW.
