Section 170-295-6060. Who is allowed to have unsupervised access to children in care?

- (1) During operating hours or while a child is in care, individuals allowed to have unsupervised access to the child in care are:(a) You;(b) An employee or volunteer who has been authorized by DEL to care for or have unsupervised access to children in child care; and(c) A representative of a governmental agency who has specific, verifiable authority supported by documentation for the access.(2) A parent can have unsupervised access only to his or her own child. A parent may sign an authorization for an individual to have unsupervised access to his or her own child (for example a therapist).(3) You must not allow anyone else to have unsupervised access to a child in child care.[Statutory Authority: Chapter 43.215 RCW, RCW 43.43.832, 2006 c 265 and 2007 c 387.
