Section 16-610-062. Veterinarian certification—Suspension and revocation.

- (1) The director may suspend or revoke a veterinarian's certification to issue inspection certificates if the veterinarian knowingly:(a) Makes or acquiesces in false or inaccurate statements on livestock inspection certificates regarding:(i) The date or location of the inspection;(ii) The marks or brands on the livestock inspected;(iii) The owner's name; or(iv) Any other statement about the livestock inspected.(b) Fails to properly verify the ownership status of the animal before issuing an inspection certificate.(c) Issues an inspection certificate without actually conducting an inspection of the livestock.(d) Fails to submit inspection fees and certificates issued to the director within thirty days from the date of issue.(2) Actions under this section will be taken in accordance with chapter 34.05 RCW.
