Section 16-19-320. Labeling and packaging requirements.

- (1) All inspected meat and meat food products stored or prepared for the owner thereof, including packages or containers containing any uninspected meat food products, must be marked "NOT FOR SALE" in letters three-eighths of an inch in height immediately upon receipt and immediately after preparing.(2) All meat food product labels and meat food product packaging must conform to requirements of chapter 19.94 RCW, the Weights and Measures Act and chapter 69.04 RCW, Intrastate Commerce in Food, Drugs, and Cosmetics, now in effect or as amended, and rules adopted under those chapters.[Statutory Authority: RCW 16.49.680.
