  • Washington school for the deaf is dedicated to offering its students an opportunity for the best education for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in the state of Washington. Concomitant to the rights and privileges guaranteed by federal and state law to students are duties and responsibilities of each student to pursue his/her course of studies, show respect for the rights of others, comply with written rules adopted herein and set forth in student handbooks, and submit to reasonable corrective action for violation(s) for such rules. This chapter is intended to assure that corrective action is imposed for just cause and in a fair and reasonable manner.
