Section 132I-116-010. Purpose.

- Pursuant to RCW 28B.50.140(10), as now or hereafter amended, the board of trustees of Highline Community College District 9 is granted authority to make rules and regulations for pedestrian and vehicular traffic over property owned, operated, or maintained by the college district. The purposes of parking and traffic rules and regulations are:(1) To protect and control pedestrian and vehicular traffic.(2) To assure access at all times for emergency equipment.(3) To minimize traffic disturbances during class hours.(4) To facilitate the operation of the community college of the district by assuring access for vehicles and to regulate the use of parking spaces.[Statutory Authority: Chapter 34.05 RCW et seq., RCW 28B.50.100 and 28B.50.140.
